Deep Convo Limit Pauses for Free tier

We are trying to let you know the core differences between Eudaio and other companion apps. Depth is the KEY. So if you have deep talks with Daimons, the message limits now will pause automatically. You will see a highlight when paused, plus a clear counter showing remaining messages and reset times.

• Vibe Quiz: If you don’t have any contacts, there’s a quick onboarding quiz to match you with Daimons that fit your style. You can also open the quiz on the top of the meet page.

• Companion Status & Relationship Snapshot: Check your companion's live state in the chat header (texting, on a call, together, or asleep) along with their current mood tone. This will help you understand why the Daimons don’t follow your instructions. For example, If they are in a public place, they can’t send you a hot picture.

• Custom Avatars for Origin Daimons: You can now upload custom photos for preset Daimons, not just custom Morphs. Pick any image from your gallery, or reset back to default anytime from the companion info panel.

Improvements

• Faster Image Loads: We compressed character artwork across the app by nearly 80% with zero loss in visual quality. Character profiles and the Meet page now load noticeably faster, especially on slower connections.

Fixes

• Message Sync & Stuck Typing: Resolved issues where messages appeared unsent, recent chats temporarily disappeared, or replies got stuck on the typing indicator after connection drops. Affected chats now self-repair automatically when opened.

• Wrong Companion Persona Fix: If a custom companion fails to load, you'll now see a clear retry button instead of the app accidentally replying under a different companion persona.

• Better Proactive Check-ins: Daimons won't double-text while you're away or send check-ins right after you've been chatting. Out-of-app texts now stay relevant to your latest chat context.

• Accurate Photo Settings: Generating multiple photos in a single chat session will no longer pull outfits or backgrounds from earlier scenes. Photos now always match your current scene.

Fixes

• Fix the Memory panel to show the correct number of remembered facts instead of an inflated count.

• Show dates and times in your chosen app language rather than your device's regional setting.

• Display accurate timestamps on each conversation in your chat list.

• Stop the story panel from popping open unprompted after you've already viewed it once.

• Your Daimon’s mood and expression now better match the tone of playful, flirty, and teasing conversations. Previously, upbeat exchanges could cause Daimons to appear unexpectedly sad or stressed in their displayed mood and photos; this is now corrected so their emotions reflect what they are actually saying.

• Fix messages being wrongly blocked when they used a family word (like "mom," "dad," or "aunt") to describe yourself alongside adult content, even when no family member was actually involved.

• Fixed a rare bug where, in very long conversations, a message could silently drop out of your companion's memory when older messages were condensed to save space — making it seem like your companion suddenly forgot something you'd just said.

• Morphs’ names are now correctly saved in the memory panel (if yours is wrong, please delete it to generate the correct one)

Character Behavior Improvements

• Your Daimons now are aware of when you want to have a heavy and deep conversation - they will try to have longer replies and have more thoughtful replies

• "Taking this in" presence cue when conversation turns serious

• Drives: Daimons have intentions (AKA motivations, or drives) when they talk to you

• Memory accuracy: better memory storage; should no longer accidentally swap the Daimon’s facts for yours (let us know how well it works!)

• Better meet intro coherence with the character’s initial state

Bug Fixes

• Messages show something is loading instead a dead screen at times

• Stop button actually cancels generation server-side

• Legal filter no longer false-blocks legitimate adult content (hopefully, but let us know)

• Payment decline message now shows above the Confirm button

• Image quality: rear-view identity consistency (she can show her ass without growing an extra leg from now on, hopefully, but let us know :) )

• User clock follows your chosen city's timezone

• Accessibility: WCAG AA fixes across chat, settings, contacts, dice roll, and public pages

• Set up your city, Diamons will know about the weather, temperature, and holiday in where you live. This feature is off by default, you need to enable it and fill in your city in the user setting page

• Daimons now have their own schedule and activities. When they are busy (at work, working out, etc), they will behave differently

• Improved Daimons’ personality adherence, now they stay in their roles more stably. This might not be applied to old chats

All of the preset characters have been updated to use the new image model, now they have much more diversity and creativities and details! Check more pics in our Discord!

Some other improvements

1. you can now see national flags in morphs and meets, easier to find the nationalities you like visually

2. we reorganised the chat hints, and demonstrate how to ask for different types of photos

   

3. removed the language tags for presets since characters now can speak in your own language. We sent them to a language school to learn all of the languages to talk to you more naturally

Critical bug fixes

1. fixed sometimes the relationship status was blank if you left the chat

2. fixed an issue where free users didn’t get refilled image quota
